Endings

Very few endings happen the way
We all expected thats what they say
Most leave you stuck in a time warp may be
Or its matter of fact the new reality
Leaving a void or a vacuum or too
So each person makes up his ending, few
Leave it to chance
Or want it to be
brought to a head
It seems to me

Left in the air
Stuck on your own
And nobody really knows your alone
The ending was vague
It seemed to me
To be not what I expected
The ending to be

Its late and I am tired
With no where to go
Nobody loves me
So nothing to show
For all the sweet love
I offered for sale
Just the cold wind thats blowing
That could still bring snow
