Anyone for Rugby?

A public school in Parramatta
Where Rugby is their game
Some training in and old boys farm
In Orange and the blame
Falling on the farmer the old boy
So to say
Public school did nothing for him
His judgement shot aWay

Call it eccentricity
But its not what I would say
Clearly an aberration on a sunny day
The sun had clearly got to him
Although the headmasters feels
There was nothing wrong with using sheep
I will tell you this reveals

The state of public schools today
Arrogance again
Not a smidgeon of empathy
For animals their pain
Their stress indeed its frightening
To be tackled by a young bloke
Dragged across the paddock
And flipped over. Its no joke

As if to coax them finally into submission
To me its wanton crime
The old boy should be prosecuted
Even serve some time
Take away his sheep for gods sake
This is cruelty
And what does that say to the Kings school boys
Its a shame people did see

The masters they were proud of it
Put it on facebook they
Probably thought it was one big joke
As the Pheonix flew away
But really if they had a brain
Which clearly is doubtful here
They might have spared these animals
From unnecessary fear

Its a wonder all the boys were keen
To abuse sheep in this way
Why not get some sporting aids
None injured so to say
Playing down the nastiness
Saying no sheep were hurt
i bet a pound to pinch of poo
Being sat on in the dirt

Bruises you and upsets you
And puts you into fear
Remember these are animals
To me its very clear
You want these sheep to play rugby
Then I reckon the boys should
Go and share the slaughterhouse
And for the teachers it would be good

The sheep have that to look forward too
So why put them through this strain
Australia is losing it and causing me some pain
Animals apparently like the iconic kangaroo
The Koala and now Sheep it seems
Face cruelty they do

And then of course live exports
Who knows where the sheep my go
On a ship to The middle east
Its possible you know
farmers ought to be aware
That animals should be
Cared for thats the expectation
They call it husbandry

It happened that boys from Kings School
In Parramatta had this training so called cruelty
Arranged by the farmer who had been an old boy at the school
