Commerce must think far more thoroughly
through the ethical Strategy here
Using live animals
For a unique promotion
Really they have to be clear

Especially babies
Taken away from their mothers
That nurturing needed each day
Customers who would be so very enchanted
By petting a little wild cub
Its really incautiousness and inconsideration
An audacity truthfully
That bears no relation

To true natural parenting
So that they can
Be adversely treated
By corporate man

It is a brinkmanship
Clearly quite rash
With some implications
For me its not flash
Some might look at it
Saying that USP
Is really not unique
It isn’t to me

It hasn’t been thought out
Its glamour and pose
With nothing for the animals
And I suppose
Some will be happy to pet a wild thing
Imagining their aura
Is going to bring

The best out of the wild ones
If the truth were known
Its going to ruin them
As its been shown
Time and again
In circus and zoo
And these latest petting farms
Its not what you do

Babies need mothers
Not customers who
Come to buy pizza
As your people do
And for ten dollars
They can pet a wild
Animal
Sadly somebody’s child

Its really not on
Its a judgement so rash
To my mind it should have been consigned
To the trash
Wild animals and Pizza
They just do not go
So I for one
Can never be part of
The show
