Stripey tails

I am the queen of the stripy tails
In the land of fae where the seraph sails
In the hawthorn hedges and snowdrops, I
Hunt for the wild voles of Sepai

I am the queen of the dancing fae
I sleep on my feet and I rock and sway
I love the shed roof where wood pigeon Joe
Teaches me things I do not know

I am the Queen of the stripy tails
I sing at night when all else fails
Foxes and moles companions they
Sit in the moonlight
And often play

I am the queen of the stripy tails
We watch the race of the super snails
Their silver path leads to a cave
Where the raven boys always save

Their spoils their little rings and things
Every night somebody brings
Something, bunches of flowers entwine
Where the fae display on the sweet grape vine

And the spider weaves her web so fine

I am the queen of stripy tails and sometimes I follow the old moon trails
Across the fields and far away to the haystack lodge
On the isle of fae

I want to take my humans there Claudia I want to share
The faery magic the wild soul place
I would love to see her face
Light up in that moon set glow
she would look more beautiful there I know
If that was possible she would be
The most beautiful human they’d ever see
And I could say she belonged to me
