Happy meat from whole foods or wherever

A happy meat pig
Picked up by its ear
And given a shot of the worst kind
Of fear
Dragged through its own shit
Thats what we see
Thats what we do
How can that be

Activists we are
We would not have chose
But with labouring farmers
Anything goes
Packed like dead sardines
In their oil can
Pigs given no chance
By corporate man

Transported to slaughter
No water no food
Picked up by one ear
How bloody crude!
When pigs are so sensitive
And really sweet
And so intelligent
“Babe” the elite
Piglet the film
That turned many away
From eating bacon
Everyday

To support such torture
You are just being part
Of the corporate pig industry
From the start
You may as well
Pick up the pig by its ear
Pull off its testicles
Inject it with fear

For its all been done to give
You a price
Its evil its hellish
Nothing is nice
In the place
where these pigs live
Many do die
In the agony you allow
So now don’t cry
About it being too graphic
It needs to be
Millions of pigs
Live in adversity

And its all of your making
As you sit down to eat
Your bacon and your ham
Thinking its a treat
Its absolute squalor
Its terrible pain
Thats each time you sit down
You made them insane

They were bitIng their bars
With prolapses galore
Living in shit
That they did abhor
Chewing each other
Great ugly sores
Being eaten by maggots
Deep in their pores

Why did they suffer
Such awful pain
Living like that
With nothing to gain
Born into this hell
Thats pigs today
And you eat your bacon
And believe what they say

That your meat is happy meat
Its in the store
Labelled like that
So you will buy more
Nothing thats dead is happy
At all
And all through its life
It had no one to call

By the time it was slaughtered
Its life filled with woe
It looked to our heaven
As its blood did flow
Hanging upside down
In its last dance of death
It truthfully didn’t want to
Share our breath

Nothing about us nothing at all
As its last dance of death
On its own bloodied wall
As its eyes slowly closed
And its spirit did fly
It thanked its lucky stars
That today it could die

It could die
It could die
It could die
It
