TAIJI

To the land of the bloody sea
And the flag of the bloody sun
The hideous tarps on the bloody cove
We can all see what you have done

The most graceless hearts
Around these parts
The fishermen of Taiji
Gross and indelicate
Grisly sods
Who care nothing for the sea

The dolphins and the porpoises
Intelligent souls are they
Social animals with lots of feeling
Are going to die today
One moment joyful the next in pain
Taiji is at it again and again

Some will be chopped up for animal feed
Some will be shipped off thats when they succeed
200’000 notes for everyone
Thats when their days work is well done

They lack compassion one and all
Vulgar and tasteless those traits on call
Their desperation and their fear
Its all coming back again this year

Really its hopeless the Japanese
Most of blubber of course they freeze
Few are now eating the flesh because
Its loaded with mercury
Then it always was

Women and children should not partake
Then fukushima are they awake
To all that pollution up in the sky
Now in the sea
I wonder why

They keep eating dolphins
Are they asleep
To the bloody obvious
Down in the deep

It all kicks off tomorrow
In town
Thats when the saga starts
Getting us down
taiji is infamous Broome yes them too
This is so cruel no wonder we do

Feel sick in our stomachs
That churning we feel
As the dolphins come in
No one can conceal
The blood on their beaks
The blood in the sea
And The carnage
Thats happening in front of me
