An ugly truth

Sea world is a land
Where fantasy comes true
Where the wildest boldest sea life
Are trapped and shown to you
Cluster around our tiny tanks
And watch our trainers, who
Are ignorant of most things
In everything they do

We see to it at Sea World
The theme park has no theme
Except one of cruelty
So much so they scream
Whale song, this is never song
This dirge comes from their soul
Trapped and brain washed into feeling
They are in control

Where the open sea
Is the fantasy
Its great depths
Are no more
Instead we show our customers
A place that they explore
Cruelty and torture
Of the orca tribe who may
Or not fight back
And kill us
Dependent on which day

What we have done for orcas
And for dolphins and the rest
Is take advantage of them all
And their bold spirits test
Lock them in our prisons
from the world of concrete blue
Paraded them like guinea pigs
To the paying public who

Receive our education
And brainwashing each day
Who get splashed with emotion
All along the way
Who experience the fantasy
Of what its like to be
Wild and in the open ocean
With our theme of purgatory
