Deep water dolphins

These colossal giants when they err
They do
Create an infernal hell on earth
Where evil washes through
Take BP in the Caspian Sea
The oil blowout that came
Killing all the wild life
Whose hearts they did inflame
But it was covered up and most
Just didn’t understand
And two years on
Deep Water Horizon
Almost crushed the land
Louisiana,Mississippi and Alabama
Saw
Dolphins for one, slaughtered out of hand
Again some did ignore
The clean up then did happen
Well that’s what we were told
In fact the filth is still everywhere
Although we all were sold
The good news
It was disaster
And is still disaster now
Dolphins are dying in their droves
Let me tell you how
The petroleum hydrocarbons
Cause lesions in the lung
And lesions in the adrenal glands
And so it gets among
The organs of the dolphins
Causing them great pain
Killing them still today
Oil is the great bane
In all the creatures that absorb
It into their sweet souls
BP are the culprits
Seemingly still poles
Away from true remediation
Again just swept away
It’s festering there under the sea
Still up till today

And everybody’s suffering
The people on the land
Their shrimps and fish
Just everybody tries to understand
The corporates get their licenses
And drill away all day
And when the great shit hits the fan
They seem to melt away

Thats their responsibility
As for the creatures who
Live in the environment
What now can they do
No escape just absorb it all
And die off, one by one
And It’s now off the front pages
So BP’s work is done.
