Melusine and claudia. (Chronic faeries)

In sacred springs and rivers
Lived a spirit she
Was beautiful beyond the eyes of
All those who could see
Her hair was dark and silky
With hints of cherry and gold
Her skin was burnished olives
In sunlight she was rolled

Her friend the gorgeous claudia
The half Italian maid
Who lived within the forest
In a cave beyond a glade
The two of them remarkable
For they attracted light
In fact they were the light itself
Positive and bright

One slept in the river
The other in the wood
Both were of the faerie race
Both misunderstood
Only one wild wizard
Ever really knew
The faerie known as Claudia
For he could just see through

She wore distinctive clothing
Made from earth and flowers
And decorated with the love of
Rain and misted powers
At midnight she would dance
Within the moons gold glare
And sometimes meet with Melusine
Two ladies ever fair

Only true believers could ever see them there
And I was that wild wizard
And their love I did share
For all the world rich bounty
For all the flowers that grew
In the forest and by the river side
Those flowers all coloured blue
And purple gold and orange
Which they tied in their hair
They were a perfect couple
Whose beauty was so rare
