Live exports to death camps somewhere

A mobile prison with tiny slats
you can see the world pass by
the smoke and concrete and exhaust fumes
blind the tearful eye
shipped like bales of paper
really wedged in tight
but we are living animals!
we try with all our might

to breathe to wrestle with each other
just to stand upright
our legs are buckled over
our hearts are aching so
our eyes are seeing smoke and dust
and no one wants to know

no water and no food for us
just stale air and tossed about
where the hell are we going to
the docks are hear some shout
a ship lies in the berth and we
we’re herded off its on the sea
3 more hours maybe until
an abattoir and perhaps the knife
slashed throats, and we’re still
from the farmers who
tell the world their love for us is true
oh yea!they do love money
but us, thats not our view
that is all they do it for
every one does pay
the cattle die the sheep die too
that is what they want from you
your better dead than living profit that’s their way
far removed from prophets
so evil every day

Live exports that’s what they now call us
but most of us will be
dead before we get there
just take that from me
and if we get to the slaughterhouse
then it won’t be long
a rusty knife will take our life
that’s all, and its all wrong

to be born as an animal
is crazy to be sure
the agony is everyday
the farmers just want more
they beat us and they torture us
and feed us, on such crap
if only we could tell you what they
do to us, they sap
we come into this life of ours
but it is never ours okay
every single moment
the shout at us and bash
lets us stand in our own poop
of course we get a rash
then its antibiotics to help
increase the weight
then more kicks and more slaps around
until we get our date

the shipment date
and then we know
its curtains we are gone
loaded on the prison truck
really heaped upon
each other many many
are bruised and crippled by
the rolling of the ship out on the waves
where some will die
