Wyoming its wolves (tagged by C Ferri)

Shot on sight
imagine that
a bounty on one’s head
and you an apex hunter
who has always led
a pack of the wild children
wolves yes so to say
and Wyoming have decided
that with your life
you’ll pay
they are completely sick
and tired of you
not for any crime
that you’ve committed personally
you’ve just run out of time
Hunters have a free for all
and they can gun you down
with high powered rifles
and cross bows
oh they really go to town
making sure your slaughtered
Wyoming seems to me
is telling caring tourists
stay away
don’t be
coming here
for killers are taking
out those who
live and die in this state
who were born here
and who view
the countryside around a bout
is as much there’s as its ours
but the men in high authority
have their modicum of powers
the wolf has really had its day
truly around these parts
and men, real men with deep pockets
yea a bunch of farts
who think its right to murder
and slaughter wolves, until
we only have them in the zoos
till then, their blood we will spill
Wyoming as a place I wouldn’t
er’e darken your door
you’ve clearly bloody lost the plot
of that, I’m very sure
and I am calling for a boycott
for judgement of this kind
must be repaid by tourists
who still haven’t lost their mind
