Somehow Kate Bush influenced me with this one

A gal I met again
her bijou, it became for me
an interlude of caring
for there, I just could be
sharing thoughts
and hoping
my hands had pained me so
the softness and the tenderness
and that wondrous too and fro

the battle did feel over
Ashridge, took on its role
Deers came by and glanced at me
the leaves of Autumn’s soul
of course the rain fell heavily
My Goddess though was there
there to help me up as I fell
headlong,and unaware

my poetical ambitions took
on a trail of woe
the Earthlings needed help
and many words, began to flow
I wanted so much to impress
the lass from long ago
who I had loved profoundly
though she had been forced to go

an ending there was never
an ending not
for me
I loved her and will love her
for all eternity
the sea can sometimes look serene
and send its surf to blight
out of pale clouds
thunderbolts can fire down
on a quiet night

a kiss just one sweet kiss
could so remind me of those days
those heady times of blossom
and ofcourse a maidens praise
a wish ah! such a wish
is not conceivable may be
but a few more years of travel
with my darling
from the C
she might be a sea soul
and her shell crown she might wear
with her cape of pure luxuriance
and sweet rainbows in her hair
