A Survivors guide to Christmyth

I’m a Turkey
and I have survived
the Cristmyth rush
Yes I’m still here
the children, liked me
they
it seems got me
a stay of execution
as their pet
it appeared,
the only way

But now I have to think
about my parents
by this time partly eaten
lying lost
trivialised and decked
in sauce and honey
my dear mama oh she
would be a cost
she always said
she loved me
and she showed it
so I do miss her
now so very much
My father was a rough neck
too much gobble
always with the lads
so out of touch

in many ways it does pay
to be little
but now what can I do
I’m all alone
Boxing day its what the humans
call today
but sit here quietly
really, and not moan
I must say it is very quiet
this morning
all the curtains drawn
no one about
too much turkey
too much Christmyth pudding
too much sherry
ah! there is no doubt

the rain and wind
plays havoc with emotion
although most do not
worry about the death
of Turkeys, Capons, Geese and the
dear Guinea Fowl
the factor here
is they were denied breath
Ducks, I hear a few of them
still swimming on the lake
luckily for them
of course they fly
when they got the sixth sense
they were soon getting the chop
they flapped their wings
and off they go, that’s why

and then of course there are some
vegetarians
they don’t eat us
but they are responsible for
the calves who go to slaughter
and of course the ones who are killed
so they can sup the milk and cheese
a lot of blood is spilled
and eggs of course those people
eat eggs and yes more souls
are slaughtered, ground up daily
there are simply no controls
those little yellow fluffy male chicks
what a way to go
ground up in a mincer
to slop, I scream out No

Still the veggies save us
and the more the merrier I say
otherwise we end up on a plate
oh yes we pay
stuffed with herbs and pig meat
up our arse hole, we
are then wrapped up in
pigs breast and roasted
till we be
burned and very smelly
that’s when the humans say
they have to pour rich gravy
over us, oh God dismay!

the parsons nose is ripped off
and a secret wish is made
by this time all the memories
of father will just fade
it makes me sad but really
and truthfully it shows
the depth of character
amongst the humans,
I suppose

Its strange they never realise actually that we
have percentage points of karma
in our being, a guarantee
that the universe will pay back
with some horror, but very few
of them care for they do believe
in medicine a view
expressed by those
in white coats
who save them
but they share
the same fate for their murdering ambitions
everywhere
and horror comes to each of them oh yes
anyway
and the Satanist’s who fill the world
with chemicals, they pay

Then there are the VEGANS
wow we love them
they do not eat or wear
or e’re abuse
they are our friends
which sends a lovely message
to all earthlings
they are our benefactors
they’re Good News!
and that transcends
for the other evil people
the butchers, Hunters
slaughtermen about
the airlines like Air France yes and
Air India shipping our dear Monkeys
yes they flout
and the Universities where vivisection
terrible embittered souls we know
all tortured
at the hands of corporate devils
for face creams and your cleaners
which do grow
So I’m spared
for I’m the children’s pet
come Easter
I’ll be bigger
that’s unless, I try
to diet I wont eat the corn
they throw me
or I’ll end up I suppose
in some sad pie
so there you are
a bit about the real true
earthling sacrifice
we do it for our brethren
their future will be nice
a Happy life to all you vegans
out there, you are great
you eat the fresh raw vegetables
and don’t want us on your plate
and future worlds will
encompass a no death strategy
when vegans will be living
and the karma guarantee
will have long since been forgotten
when all our lives will be
underwritten by the
Universe
and its bountiful decree
