Foie Gras the producers/the buyers and sellers/the consumers

A despicable act of injustice
on live birds in this case
Ducks
in a huge facility
In Quebec and the practice
sucks
Production begins with the hatching
Females sexed and thrown away
Its because they have too many veins
on their livers
And that is a nuisance okay
Chucked in a basket and then in a bag
Sometimes their gassed but most times
they’re not
There just left in the bag

hoping they rot
The life force of ducklings is vital
and they
Can still be alive at the end of the day
Hopeful some error has happened and they
Will not be suffocated but God how they  pay
1000 a week young females do die
Every week of the year
Which is one reason why
Foie Gras is gross and the people
are too
They are low life no doubt
for the sick stuff they do
When ever their handled its roughly
for they
are kicked in the air
or thrown you can say
There is no regard for these
innocent souls
They are treated abominably
without controls
of any kind they are abused
all the time
and so many die
Bins are full
There’s no rhyme
or reason to treat any creature
this way
Taking out your frustration
and making them pay
Those that make 12 weeks
Are ready to be
Set up for gavarge
Force Feeding
My plea
Is this should be banned
For its terribly crude
Causing great suffering
This awful food
Onto the feeding shed
a top closing cage
And here they are force fed
by men in a rage
To complete the great feed
which personifies why
So many ducks are induced
just to die
12 inches down their poor throats
the pipe goes
A great ball of corn
this we impose
on an innocent bird
That is choking for air
We destroy them each day
we seem so unaware
of the torture the pain
as they vomit up blood
and many give up
and lie dead in the mud
which is made up of food waste
and bodies for they
are just part of a process
and that is the way
Its brutal its sick
its the vilest of food
its exceptionally painful
and terribly crude
For man in this day and age
to be so vile
to an innocent earthling
In complete denial
Till their livers are swollen
and fatty
they are dying there
now on their feet
When the liver is so unbelievably sick
The Ducks begs for death
and death isn’t slick
Its off to the abattoir
and there most don’t see
More torture more pain
and adversity
The most diseased livers are
prized for they do
Make the finest Foie Gras
so there there’s your clue
How sick we are letting this
dastardly fayre
Be created in our names
And sold everywhere
At Amazon, Fortnums and all the
fine places
Where eminent souls shop
with all their fine graces
For buyers to be part of this
crude affair
The world should boycott them
we just musn’t share
Our money with them
for their motives declare
Utter rejection of innocent life
And a weird consolation
procured by the knife
I can say those buying it
must be insane
Its desperately cruel
and its part of the chain
Those arse holes who eat it
with toast for their tea
or who serve it
how basic
how gross
They must be
I say to you
you are the lowest of low
To support such a trade
And just not want to know
And its an indictment
of where you belong
In that factory Farm
To see just how wrong
Your ugly wishes
to spread more foie gras
Makes you
sick
your so sick
Yes you are!
